Karate High Noon is a game inspired 90s action fighting movies where you and your team are surrounded by dudes that are asking for an ass-kicking. You play as Rangers, a team of justice-seeking mercenaries sent after dangerous S.O.B.s where ever they are holed up. Slap this game on the table, make your Ranger in seconds and break into the action!

  • Good for 1-4 players with optional GM
  • Great for 1-2 hour time slots
  • Each player needs six d6 (physical dice preferred)
  •  Large hats are optional, but one-liners are required

COMBOS!

The true secret purpose of this game is to test out my combo-combat system for my other games. I want to bring to ttrpg gaming the same feeling that you get when you play video games like Monster Hunter, Dark Souls, and other fast-paced action games that are about being in the flow state. You have control of the fight and you can choose to push your luck, play it safe, or rely on your teammates. This is about bringing a brand new dynamic to how we engage with conflict in tabletop gaming.

STUNTS!

All awesome actions are handled by one roll, as long as the PC has the stamina to spend they can do the cool thing and move on. It's not about the skills or abilities of the PC's, it's the choice of the player to gamble with their resources.

TEST SUBJECTS?!

I've run a few playtests and have been refining the game each time, in short, I still have no idea if this going to fully function. My short time playing with it has been a blast with ridiculous and campy action. I'm definitely interested in collaboration if this project inspires you to write some new moves or expand upon the one-page format. Should you get this to a table, let me know how it goes.
